AWS Hosting

We are in the process of rehosting BBCRM to AWS cloud. We initially had issues with the application load balancer for the CRM servers and switched to a network load balancer. Has anyone else used this configuration?

  • We used an ALB for external connections, and a classic load balancer for internal communication, which we "tricked" blackbaud in to using by editing the internal AD DNS zones to point to the Classic Load Balancer. This allowed us to use AWS WAF and Shield on external connections, and use straight pass-thru for NTLM authentication on internal API calls. If you are interested I can get you in touch with our Cloud platform manager.

    Thanks

  • Hello Shekar,

Sounds interesting! Would you be able to get me in touch with your cloud performance manager? I would want them to speak with our experts on campus (I am not!)

    Thanks
