Icons / Graphics for creating help materials

Hello! Does anyone know if there's a resource for getting high-resolution versions of the graphics used to create the icons we see for different record types of functions? For example: An individual record has a little person, a revenue record a stack of coins, an acknowledgement (revenue) report has an envelope with a stack of coins . . .

When I zoom into the interface, the resulting screenshot looks fuzzy. it would be nice to use these in presentations where we outline a process.

Hello, Sheri. Thank you for asking this question. I have the same issue. I can see all of the icons available in CRM while in Design Mode, but I do not see a way to access existing icons, find high resolution alternatives, or add custom icons. I'm excited to see if any of this is possible.

I feel like the developers must have access to those somewhere. A designer would have provided a low-res version to them but should have a high-res version from which they created the graphic.

Hey Sheri,

Hope all is well. There are three sizes of icons, small, medium and large. They're all going to be a low resolution because icons that's what Icons require. I'm not sure what the resolution difference is between the sizes, but you can find the images by searching the vRoot folder (one of your developers could access it) using *png and will see all of the images.


You might just want to find similar icons to use in other materials. You can get tons of free icons on this site: https://thenounproject.com/

You can add custom icons (not all OOB icons can be replaced though.) Here's an example of what we've done before. I can get instructions from our tech team if you'd like.

Hey, Stacey! Good to "see" you again. I chatted with you quite some time ago when we were just getting ramped up for GoLive. You've just given me a great idea to put on the Backlog. I was hoping to do the opposite: get the OOB icons out of BBCRM. I thought they would be nice for training materials and presentations.

Yes, that's a good point about resolution. It was a million years ago for me, but I designed some icons for courseware and the emphasis was on having them as small as possible.

I've had good luck with a website called flaticon.com. Excellent library of icons. It's paid, but you can just get a month and then cancel.
