Birth Country for Parents

We like to gather birth country information on those families who wish to report. I cannot figure out how to collect parent birth country information within the application. I was told I can add it as a custom candidate field, but that doesn't add it into the Birth Place field within Citizenship/Resident section.

How are schools collecting this information?

That is interesting. We do not collect that information but you would think it would be embedded in the application or the inquiry form. I could not find it in either one. Other than asking in the application process, I have not idea. Sorry couldn't help.
