Adding a font in letters set up under config

I created several letters under config and now I need to change the font to one that I had to download (Work Sans). When I open Microsoft Word, Work Sans is available to choose but not when I open my Merge document that I set up under config. Any idea how to add this extra font?

I think this is an instance of MS Word not playing nice with Blackbaud RE. Does copying a word or phrase from an existing document written in the new font, then pasting it over in to the merge document carry the new font over, where it can then be extended to the whole merge document?

A colleague had mentioned that as well. It hadn't worked at first but I may have missed a step. It seems to have worked this time although Work Sans still does not show in the drop-down but I can type it in and no longer get a warning message like I did previously. There is one particular letter that still shows Calibri when I open it but when it select all, it changes to Work Sans so I think RE is just not feeling well today. Thanks for your suggestion. It made me revisit this option and work a little hard to convince it to work.
