EAP Opportunity for donor Portal in RENXT

Hi Everyone!

We are looking for a few more candidates for our Portal EAP that starts in October. Here are the details and prerequisites needed to join. After reviewing the information below, if you are interested in being considered as a candidate, please contact kylee.long@blackbaud.com.

What is a Portal?

The Portal will be a donor-facing website or web portal, an online place where people who support your organization will be able to login, manage their giving and contact information and interact with you in ways that tie into the back-office RENXT solution.

Below you will find more details about what it means to participate in the RENXT Portal Early Adopter Program (EAP). Please take a minute to consider applying!

Timeline of the Portal EAP:

• Early October start (exact date TBD)
• The exact end date for the EAP is not known, but our goal is to aim for 1-2 months.
• There will be bi-weekly “syncs” where all EAP participants will be asked to join for Q&A and feedback on their experience with Portal.

Prerequisites:

1. To apply, you must be a live, current RENXT Customer
2. Your organization must be currently using BBMS (or willing to use BBMS and submit a BBMS application prior to the EAP start)
3. Your organization must be willing to use Donation Forms for collecting gifts
4. Access to the Portal during EAP will be open to any admin users and donors, but we do ask that your organization recruit 1 donor (non-staff member) you have invited to use the portal to participate in a discovery call and provide us with contact information for 2-3 donors we could send a feedback survey to.
5. Sign an EAP agreement, agreeing to the Terms & Conditions of EAP participation

Focus of EAP Feedback:

For purposes of this EAP, we will be requesting feedback on the following:

1. How a donor account would be created from a Constituent record and how the registration and account creation process works
2. Donor giving features: including, but not limited to, how a donor can use the web portal to make a gift, manage recurring gifts, manage payment methods, and view giving history
3. Donor ability to manage their profile information: ability of donor to view and update basic constituent info about themselves and their family
4. Organization Admin capabilities to support rolling Portal out to your donors
5. How features in the Portal will interact with the organization’s live RENXT solution

Expectations of Participants

1. Provide a staff member as the primary point of contact for providing regular staff feedback on the Portal. This person is responsible for:
   1. Participating in a 45-minute bi-weekly Q&A meeting (Tuesdays at 1PM Central)
   2. Complete user testing tasks as assigned
   3. Providing timely feedback in the Community EAP pages
   4. Responding to information requests from Blackbaud within 3 business days
   5. Participating in one Discovery call
   6. Participating in EAP Kickoff Webinar (date TBD)
   7. Participating in EAP Closing Webinar (date TBD)
2. Recruit 1 donor (non-staff member) from your organization to participate in a 45-min discovery call to provide feedback and user testing.
3. We also ask that you connect us with 2-3 donors (non-staff members) from your organization that we could send a survey to learn more about their experience.
4. Activate the portal and invite donors to join and try it out.

Hi Kylee,

I can't seem to find a status of the donor portal. I feel like it was mentioned in the PUB but I also can't find those resources and wasn't able to save a slide deck from it.

Is there a release date yet? Thanks!

@Kylee Long just wondering if you can give us a status update on the portal EPA. Where is Blackbaud in the process of releasing this for the general public? Thanks!
