Attendance report to show days present

In addition to absences and tardies, I would love to see a total, or list, of present days on the attendance reports. I am required to show first date of attendance for scholarship reasons as well as a report of these days in many situations. As it stands now, I cannot see a way to show the first date of attendance for a student as only absent and tardy will show up on the reports.

Hi @Renee Hoppe - there isn't a report or list that will show attended. Apparently, the Attended attendance code doesn’t actually store in the database like the rest of the codes.

There is an idea in the idea bank for this.

I've just voted on that idea, thank you Bryan! We are in the midst of implementing Visitu to track our on-campus guests and vendors as well as eventually track our student attendance when students leave and return to campus. Visitu will give us a definitive record of which students have checked in and when, but if this information doesn't sync back to the K12 system then our only recourse would be the Visitu reports. This isn't the end of the world, but like other folks in the ideas portal have mentioned, it's a DOE compliance issue as well as a contact-tracing issue.

We get this request from time to time for some students. I use a specially built “report card” to pull in attendance, showing the number of days present and the number of days absent. Once it is set with the school and student info, I “Preview” the template to pull the data. See: days present - screenshot for user community.docx

I just happened across a “days present” option as a column in the SKY lists for attendance. Have you tried that?
