COVID proof of vaccine

We are trying to figure out the best way to collect and store proof of vaccination for students, as well as faculty/staff members. Can medical information be recorded for employees as well as students in the medical section? Could we (our nurse) send a medical form to upload proof of vaccination for employees as well as students?

That's a great question! Our school currently uses two different programs for this purpose: Magnus Health, which integrates with BBK12, has a vaccine card upload function which allows us to store vaccine information for all of our students and staff.

For other visitors, siblings, parents, etc, we plan to use the Visitu (also integrates) vaccine passport feature as soon as it launches to GA.

I have not looked specifically at using the Nurse's Office simply because we've used Magnus for all of our vital health records and the integration is great.

Thank you Jess! We also use Magnus; I am not a Nurse and wasn't aware that it could hold vaccination information for staff as well as students.

Lauren, AFAIK, the “Nurse's Office” in BB K12 doesn't extend to faculty/staff.

We created a medical form in BB Nurse office and have parents upload a copy of the vaccine card and it is visible on the student's medical record to anyone with Nurse roll. We don't collect staff cards, so BB was all we needed for students info.
