New gradebook features

Hey all, I'm one of the technical writers at Blackbaud. Just wanted to highlight a couple of features from this week's K-12 release notes that we hope will address some of the needs you've expressed here in the community.

See students’ assignments from the gradebook

Teachers can now access Assignment details from the Gradebook. From the assignment column dropdown, teachers will need to select Go to assignment to open the Assignment details. In addition, if you open up the Evaluate assignment pop-up for a Student, teachers can select Go to student’s assignment to open up the Assignment details for the student. Once finished, they can easily close the assignment details by selecting the available X. This will return the teacher to their Gradebook. Teachers will have access to a quick video on their My Day page to view this feature!

Uncommitted skill ratings and/or comments in gradebook

Previously, when skills were collapsed in the Gradebook, there was no way to tell if there were any staged skill ratings and/or comments. Now teachers will see a blue bar on the assignment column if there are staged skill ratings and/or comments. Teachers will be unable to add or delete skills from an assignment when there are staged skill ratings and/or comments.

Thanks in advance, as always, for your feedback.
