ConsID visibility in NXT

I'm not sure if this is the right place, (kind of new to the Community), but it drives me nuts that the ConsID is not more visible in RE NXT. I feel like when you pull up a record in RE NXT it should be front and center at the very top of the screen, not buried below. Also on the action item lists if lists all of the donor's demographic and contact information on the main screen but not the ConsID. Our organization uses ConsID's for everything, so we are always needing that number. Alright, I'm done complaining now

Hi @Laura Hofstrand - In case you are not aware, I figured I would mention that as an NXT web view user you can move the tiles to a new location your view within a constituent record - hover your mouse over the nine squares in the upper right corner of a tile and drag it to your desired location. I personally have the contact and constituent Information tiles at the top of my view.

Additionally, I would recommend you check out the RE NXT Idea Bank and vote for any ideas that resonate with you.

Thanks Austen. Yes I was aware of that, and I do have the Constituent Summary tile at the top, but because the ConsID is one of the last things on that tile, I still usually have to scroll down to see it. I just wish it was at the very top of the screen next to the name. Thank you though for the link to the idea bank. I will definitely check that out.

Completely understand that one. There are numerous ideas in the Idea Bank concerning placement and inclusion of constituent IDs.

Re: Action lists - I think Constituent ID was recently added as a column we can add, so maybe this one has been solved.

Thank you! I agree. We do everything by Constituent ID and I agree, this is fairly annoying!

I have an idea for you. You could make an Addr/Sal entry like this one:

And then go to your User Settings and setup the ‘Individual title bar’ to this:

Your constituent record will show this

Use the ‘Copy User Settings’ plug-in to copy these settings to other users…

Hi, Laura.

Thanks for your feedback on Lists. A few weeks ago we added the ability for you to show Constituent ID in your action and opportunity lists (and export that column as well). Hope this helps with some of your workflows and getting the right records and keeping your system up-to-date and in sync.
