CSC/CVV field not big enough

We have heard from a few donors that when they try to put their CVV number in the field isn't big enough so they can't verify that it is correct. Is there a way to make this field/box bigger?

@Cathy Metz - Do you know what type of cards these donors are trying to use?

Mastercard. It looks like on our site, once they type in the 3/4 digits and move to another field, only the first digit shows up. Could it be our website settings?

If you are using Standard Checkout, does swapping to Blackbaud Checkout help with this? I was looking at the donation form on our site to compare and the part where you enter the card details is formatted differently to yours so this is the only thing I could think it could be.
