Tracking Gift Cards - Altru

I know Altru doesn't currently have the capability to issue real gift cards or track gift certificates sold that have been redeemed. Can anyone share how their museum is issuing and tracking gift cards? I checked with Blackbaud and they said that there are no third party vendors for gift cards that integrate with Altru. Currently, we have no way of knowing which gift certificates (we sell them as a merchandise item in Altru) have been redeemed and it's creating accounting issues for us. Any insight, feedback, or info on what your institution is using and how your institution is tracking gift certificates would be AMAZING!

We track gift certificates and guest passes manually in two separate Excel spreadsheets so we can do a match-back to the constituent and revenue (for gift certificates) when they are redeemed.

@Lauren Stambaugh Many things to run daily operations seem to require third party software or tracking by spreadsheet. We would LOVE to be able to issue gift cards, (like a credit card loaded with variable amounts). This could be for gifted Memberships or store purchases.
