Hi,

Wondering how people track in-kind support from partners? We don't want to lose sight of these things and have seen a larger pick-up since Covid began. Examples: Corporate Partner throws a Christmas Party with gifts purchased for each resident, Community Partner buys ice cream bars on a hot summer day, Family members donate all the supplies to make gingerbread houses etc.

We don't know the value of these gifts but want to add them to their record in some way and provide a better way of reporting in kind gifts on an annual basis.

We used to record the value of gifts in journal under “Received” but currently moving away from it as deciding the value was challenging and time consuming. We describe the items received under “note” and mark them as Gift In Kind under Gift Type to track them.
