Dashboard Pledges, Payments & Balances on pledge insights

Hi everyone,

I have an open case through support on this and right now they are leaning toward defect but I thought I'd see what the community thought.

All of my pledge insights in the report builder are doubling. Insights for Pledges by Campaign, Pledges by Fund & Pledges by Appeal. The pledge amount, pledge payment amount & the pledge balance are all doubled. I have reviewed my insight criteria and my Settings for committed and received, as have support, and they all look correct. I have removed the insight ad re-added it and I have re-created the entire report, both to no avail.

I even have a record with 1 gift only. It's a $7,000 pledge with no soft credits, no solicitor, no event linkage and most importantly no payment yet, and the insight says they've pledged $14,000 and owe $14,000. It can't be double counting pledges and payments because many of these have no payment yet. Plus, because it's a pledge insight there is no where to select gift types, I guess since it knows it's looking at pledges, but if I do filter gift types I get the same result.

I would love for it to be some silly check box that I missed but I've been wracking my brain for 3 weeks to figure this out and my case with support has been open for over a week with no resolution. It's possible it's a defect but I thought that just maybe someone out there may have an explanation or has experienced a similar instance in the past.

Have you checked your settings in RENXT? Control Panel>>Settings>>Giving analysis?

I have. That's what I was referring to by “settings for committed and received” I just couldn't remember the words “gift analysis” at the time. That and the insight settings are the only places I can think of that would have any impact on this. But even if those were out of whack it shouldn't be doubling a pledge and the associated balance when a payment hasn't even been made. That's why I think they're leaning toward defect. I appreciate the try however. This was just a last hope effort.
