Good Morning! I have a couple questions as I get ready to convert families into Households? What has your experience been with using Households? When you have families with parents who have different last names living at the same address, what format do you use the salutation? We used different formats for salutations in EE but not having the pre-formatted option makes me nervous about things getting messy!

I usually use something like “To The Parents of ChildFirst ChildLast” or “To the Parents of Child1 & Child2,” etc.

@Vicky Lopuchowycz - +1 for what Jess said. We used to use them in EE as well but since we moved to EM we stopped after our first year.

We rarely mail anything now and days but if we do we go with the "To the Parents(s) of:"

We rarely mail things anymore but we use "The [last name] Family". In the case of parents with different last names, we add both last names. We used an excel export of parent/student last names and then concatenated them with “The” and “Family”. We then imported that back into Core. It did take some manual edits and careful review but has worked for us so far.
