Word Doc Attachments in NXT

Does anyone know the fate of Word attachments in NXT with the upcoming Word changes?

Is there a way to query on them in DB View? If not, is there a way to isolate them in NXT?

    I don't think that the upcoming changes impact Word docs that are attached in RENXT. My understanding is that anything that uses the MERGE function in Database view is impacted. Attachments in RENXT are actually not viewable in Database view only through NXT and not through an internal (RE) version of Word. If you open those docs, it is using the local version of Word on your computer. Nothing I have seen in the materials from Blackbaud have said anything about attachments in RENXT.
