Microsoft Teams

Is the update for OAuth and potential integration outside of “simple” OneRoster exports officially dead in the water?

  • No! Tim I know there is another thread out there where we announced this (and understandably to the response of we'll believe it when we see it) but support for OAuth 2 and MS requirements is in active development and on the roadmap for release early summer. Personally I'm hoping for an earlier arrival, I'm an optimist but my record is pretty solid ( ;

    Thank you! That would permit assignments and grades passing between the two, correct?

  • Here is referenced post from September of last year.

    I still hope it does materialize. As an alternative Microsoft is building a better parent app to view assignments and grades in Teams so maybe one less need of the Blackbaud side.

    Is Blackbaud compatible with Education Management using OAuth 2.0 security protocol yet? Will LTI Roster be able to be connected with Microsoft School Data Sync for Roster syncs/updates between Microsoft O365 Systems(Azure, Teams) and the Blackbaud Education Management Roster Data? And if so, what data will be able to be synced between the two systems successfully?

    Thank You,

    Is it ready? Trying to find the information but having trouble. Thank you

    Have you looked into using Teams as an LMS? We currently use Google Classroom and we were wondering if Teams would integrate with Blackbaud.
