Prerequisites for Course Recommendations

I wonder if anyone has a creative way to set up course recommendations or to handle course enrollment that would allow prerequisites to work for us. Our upper level science classes can be requested by students who have taken biology OR summer biology AND chemistry OR summer chemistry. There isn't currently a way to set up prerequisites with an alternative course. I have created the summer classes as separate classes because they don't count for credit only for acceleration although students do get a grade in them.

Any ideas how I could make the prerequisites work in this scenario?

Lisa, there are ideas for enhancing the logic for prerequisites that could use a hand to push this issue with BB. The simplistic logic available has forced us to make many courses require recommendation to ensure that someone is looking at a student's history to ensure they meet the qualifications. Allowing “AND” as well as “OR” in a single instance would be great for us.
