Donation form-address block for Canada

I have tried searching for this but haven't had any luck. Does anyone know how to change the default country to Canada when designing a new donation form in RE-NXT? Right now it defaults to the US but we are a Canadian charity. Also, can donors from outside of the US/Canada donate? It doesn't give any other options.

    The current default (US or Canada) is controlled by the browser culture settings of the person visiting the donation form.

    • If their default browser culture is set to en_CA or fr_CA then Canada will be selected by default
    • If their default browser culture is set to en_US then United States will be selected by default
    • If their default browser culture is anything else, then United States will be selected by default

    Donors from other regions can technically donate via the donation form, however as noted, they cannot successfully enter a preferred address for any other region (outside of US/Canada) at this time.

    We realize this is limiting and inconvenient and we are working to enhance the experience so that most/all worldwide regions are supported in that address block.

    In the meantime, the suggested workaround is to provide a link to another (separate) form that you've built that does not include the address block to account for donors in other regions (not US or Canada). In doing so, the donor will be able to successfully donate, however they will not be given an opportunity to enter an address that would be written to their record in Raiser's Edge.

    The same applies to the phone field. To assume that elderly donors will have set their language to en_CA or en_AU instead of the default English in their browser's advanced settings is a major UX oversight. To expect donors to have to manually change the country independently in both the Phone and Country fields is frankly crazy. Especially when this selection can be determined automatically:

    Hello,

    In case you missed it we recently made a change and now the address and the phone defaults to charity's address. In the preview of the form you may still see the phone defaulting to the United States, but be assured when the form is live your donor will see the country of your charity's address.
