Using Marketing/Emails...should they show up in ACTIONS

I am new to RE NXT after years of RE7. I like the functionality of sending emails through NXT however, once a one-time email is sent to a group of constituents, it does not show up in their individual record under ACTIONS. I can understand not all emails from this function might need to be in ACTIONS but I feel it would make sense to have that options where it can be turned on/off by the operator in order to capture One-Time emails (v. Workflow).
