Blackbaud University "training path" for teachers, operations, etc.

Hello all,

I am trying to put together a training resource for onboarding new faculty/staff, to map out how to access Blackbaud University and access the courses that will be most pertinent to their specific functions within the system. My worry is that if I do it now, the courses/information will be outdated or dead links by the time our new teachers come in June/July. Hopefully this will not be the case, and blackbaud will stick with their current learning platform until then. I want to be as explicit and concise as possible without putting a lot of effort into something that will be obsolete before it's used. How do y'all handle this?

  • With respect to your faculty members who will be consuming more training - the learning paths in the BBU Campus as well as the learning paths outlined by role in the K12 data sheet are excellent resources that should stay more or less up to date.

  • I am following this! I think there should be short training sessions for the users of the software: Teachers, athletic department, student life.
