Membership NXT Webview

Kevin Hardy

Is there an early adopter program for the Membership Module in NXT? Last I heard about Membership functionality in the Webview (and the Sky API) was back at BBCON in 2019. Did plans change? We were really looking forward to that.

Currently there's only the limited Constituent Membership where it'll show you your most recent membership. We're still looking for more details in the webview (such as history of membership renewals) and also the ability to add a membership / modify membership custom fields, etc. in the webview.

Any updates on this?

Hi @Kevin Hardy - Reach out to your Account Rep and let them know that you are interested in participating in an EAP on this if/when it exists; they will be the best source of information on this.

Hi ?

I was just doing my monthly “What happened to the Membership functionality in NXT idea?" search in the forums and was still coming up empty. Have you heard anything new? Or if the idea was dropped? I wish I could get an answer either way!

@Kevin Hardy at BBCON in October, there were quite a few people in session chats asking about Membership. During the Product Update Briefing (PUB) in particular. The Blackbaud rep(s) managing the chat said that it was definitely not on the roadmap for 2023.

I feel like it wasn't for 2024 either, but am less certain about that. My overall takeaway was “don't expect anything for at least two years”, but I don't recall any specific statements that led me to that feeling.

@Karen Diener such disappointing news - but thank you for that confirmation.

It really does make me wonder what exactly the roadblocks are (since it seemed so promising a few years ago) and if they'll ever have plans to bring that functionality in again. ?
