Has anyone added students and parents to Blackbaud ID from School Admin?

    @Sandy Ernst - we use the School Admin data push to move enrolled students and their parents from School Admin to the SIS. After that initial transfer, I follow a multi-step process to clean up data formatting, do a sanity check on the data (addresses linked correctly, siblings linked correctly, etc), and fill in missing info (salutations, etc). This is done with a couple of programs I wrote that use the KSY API to access data.

    The programs generate CSV files which I then import into the SIS. One of those imports assigns the BB-ID based on the parent's email address.

    We just recently got on SchoolAdmin so this is my first year trying it out. It doesn't look too different from what I had before. I did reach out to them to get a crosswalk of the fields to match up.

    I typically clean up and massage the data (especially the parents info) before I import into RE.

    I'm interested in following this post before I start adding in a couple weeks.
