Salutations (family not individual)

Is it true the Salutations in K12 are all family shared? Is there a way to do a merge with individual parent names through the salutations? How are people making tax receipts that should be individually addressed?

Hi Karen,

Salutations are tied directly to the address record - typically it's recommended that this address originate on the student record and be shared with the parent records with a family salutation. If you need to generate individual salutations, you could always copy the address onto the parent records individually and ensure they are unlinked. Then you could include different salutations for each parent - just ensure you've properly labeled each address type so you know which address is the shared/super record and which are the individual parent addresses.
