Diploma Set Up - Math Credits

I'm hoping someone can assist as I am not sure how to set this up in our diploma.

We require students to earn a math credit each year regardless of accrued credits. Students have the ability to double up in math sophomore and junior years. How can I set it up to recognize that a student still has an outstanding math credit if they have earned 4 credits in math prior to senior year?

Thoughts? And Thank you!

My suggestion would be for your math requirement “heading” to have four individual requirements: 9th Grade, 10th Grade, 11th Grade, and 12th Grade. For the individual requirement to be considered complete, each requirement must earn a minimum of 1.0 credit.

For example, in our social studies requirement “heading”, we have a specific requirement of Civics which can be fulfilled with either Civics or AP US Gov't/AP Macro) , another specific requirement of U.S. History (which can be fulfilled with U.S.H. or APUSH), and the third specific requirement of two credits in social studies courses of choice.

Hope that makes sense. I initially was using the word “group” instead of “heading” because that is the label Blackbaud uses in the set up screen, but the term “groups” can get confusing with different features in the system.

Feel free to reach out if you have questions.

    Scott
