Hi All!

I've been looking into taking the Altru Fundamentals course to continue my training. Currently, I serve as a Development Coordinator and am 1 of may 3 or 4 people who consistently use Altru in our organization (this is mainly due to a lack of training due to staff turn over). Do you recommend the course and did you find it helpful to your every day duties when working in the database?

    Take AS MANY of the courses as you can. There is actually a webinar coming up about membership that, though claims to be ‘basic’ I'm still planning to attend. This way too you meet users! Go for it.

    I would take as many classes as you can. I definitely recommend Query 1 and 2, as they work within so many aspects of Altru. As far as other classes, it depends on your day to day. I sign up for additional classes as the need to learn a new aspect of the database comes up.

    Classes are good, even if I think I know about the topic, I still come away having learned something.
