Gift Date Added field filter for lists?

Does anyone know of any way to use the Gifts Date added field as a filter in lists?

I want to do a daily donations report but due to differentials in processing checks, online payments, etc, it ends up that gifts aren't added until a variable number of days after their gift date. So I'll end up missing things. It would be very helpful if I could do a filter by Gift Date Added but I can't find any such beast.

I use the database view to run my reports and use the gift added date because I run into the same issue on missing gifts if I use the gift date. Having a gift-added date as a filter in NXT would save me time on running this report and sending it to our team.

I believe the Gift Date Added field is still not available for lists right now. We create a static query each day for gifts added the day previous in database view and then use that query to make a list in webview that is then emailed out to staff. A few more manual steps involved, but we haven't found it to be too cumbersome.

We run a daily gift report through a gift list in NXT and have gotten around the gift added vs gift date issue by pulling the list based on batch. Since we only enter gifts through batch and online gifts are automatically pulled in through batch, that typically gets all of the gifts for the day. The downside is that there is no “and” for the filter so you have to pull them one at a time for the different batches unless they all “contain” a key element like date in the batch number/name. In our case, we use “contains” in the filter for our online gifts and then equals for our database view gifts because they are numbered/named differently. Each list is exported and then combined in Excel. Not a perfect solution yet but it is working for what we need it to do and most of the people needing the list are more comfortable in Excel.

@Scott Turnbull Two years later and still not added, this would be very helpful as our front line fundraisers are more likely to use the NXT list than to get into database view. Sometimes we batch online gifts for a day or so before the physical deposit, so they get lost in the list. Need the option to add/sort by “date added”.

Unfortuntately, as you already know, this is not available on the List in webview. I'm sure Idea Bank has been mentioned before, so no need to say again.

If you/your team/org can't wait for Blackbaud to have this, you can consider going with SKY API automation route, plenty of automation to send daily gift based on gift date added using power automate.
