Are others having issues with their Magnus Health SSO for parents?

  • We had issues last week - but it is fixed now. No changes were required for the fix, but we did reach out to both Magnus & BB support.

    I've just tried the SSO and it works for me as a test parent we have set up.

    I have been going back and forth with them all week. I've now uploaded my keys to them 3 times and they just told me all BB customers are having issues.

    I'm so frustrated with them.

  • We've had synchronization issues since at least October. When profile updates are made in the SIS, the changes do not reflect in Magnus. For example, when parents change their email address or a student's name changes, the updates are not reflected in their accounts. I also noticed last week that incoming students have either no parents appearing under their Emergency Contacts or only the first parent.

  • Sorry for the late reply to this. I wasn't aware of any SSO issues with Magnus but I was coincidentally trying to find out where within Blackbaud the SSO link for Magnus authentication was configured and I could not for the life of me figure it out. Could someone from this thread kindly remind me where you configure the SSO link for Magnus?
