Adding "realized" Charitable Remainder Unitrust to gift record with out PG module

Wondering how others might add a “realized” Charitable Remainder Unitrust (CRUT) as a gift. I want to make sure that a) this is recorded as a CRUT and NOT a Bequest-realized and b) it is not confused as an addition to, or a newly created CRUT. We started with Type: Cash and subtype: Charitable remainder unitrust, but I realize that will confuse it with point b, additions or new CRUT's. I am wondering if I should push to create a new subtype: CRUT - realized, like we do with bequests. Any thoughts? These realized CRUT's were not been entered into the system to begin with, so it isn't like a pledge payment
