Send an email to participants registered for an event

This is easy to do if the registrants are all constituents EXCEPT that the system defaults to their primary email in the contact summary, so if they registered with a different email address for reasons of their own, any emails I send using the constituent list created from the participants will go to the wrong address for that person. MY REAL QUESTION: anyone found a workaround for sending emails to participants who are not constituents? The only thing I have found is sending the marketing email from RENXT to myself so that I have a copy in my inbox, then exporting the list of participants who are not constituents, starting a forward email of the original message, copying/pasting the list of their email addresses into my email BCC field and sending them a copy of the message I sent to everyone else through RENXT's marketing email tool. This is problematic for many reasons, including spam filters. Is there truly not a better way to do it? I'm thinking of suggesting the following: 1. there should be a button for Create participant list so we can use it to mail from the Marketing menu AND 2. Participants' contact summary should show the email they registered with, not their primary email address. What do we think?
