Effects of Inactivating a User

Hello, I am currently cleaning up our users by inactivating anyone who no longer needs access to RE or NXT. We recently converted, so I am still learning the effects of inactivating a user. If one of the users I inactivate has a queue set up, will that affect the queue at all and prevent it from running? Thank you for any help you can provide. -Akeem

We have a number of inactive users. In addition to marking as inactive, my process is to rename the user. Example: PDIXON becomes ZZPDIXON. When I look at my queue list I can see queue's that ZZPDIXON created and that they have recently run.

So based on what I see, a queue will run and user being inactive did not affect.

Sounds like you have everything under wraps - inactivating is the way to go. Make sure your user (like all users) have their Lists, Queries, etc set so that other users can run and modify. And make sure to transfer over any Solicitor Relationships or Actions that they have pending, over to another user so they don't get dropped.
