Preregistered Program Rosters not giving information in order

Hi All,

Wondering if anyone else is having problems with the Preregistered Program Roster report. I've pulled this report over the past few months as our summer camp registrations have come in with no issues. However, recently the information exported is showing up in a random order and not in the order of the fields we've listed per program. I chatted with support, but they said it was because the orders where done online. (We've been using Altru since 2016, with ~60% of our camp sales being done online each year and this report has pulled properly with the answers to registration questions showing up in order until recently. So this doesn't make sense as to why it suddenly changed.) In addition, it's out of order for orders done in Advance Sales too and even within online orders information is showing up in different orientations. I was wondering if anyone is experiencing the same issues and if you had any suggestions besides making custom queries for all programs. Any help would be much appreciated. Thank you!

Yes, we are having this issue. I came to the forum to search for a solution.

  • @Tami Goertzen Sadly, this problem still persists. I checked in again with support at the end of January and was told again that there is not a timeline of when this will be addressed, but instead been given a workaround to export data out using a knowledgebase article. Be warned, this workaround takes lots of work to make, especially if you have lots of registration questions. In addition, data is in columns not rows, so reads horizontally, and you'll have to play around with it to organize the columns in a desired order. I also added the camp name and cancellation status, which aren't mentioned in the article. We are still deciding if we'll use this export way or use a custom query…neither being as clean or efficient as a proper Preregistered Program Roster.

  • @Kristen Artero Thanks for linking to the Knowledgebase article. I found another post where someone mentioned using the export definition. It looks like something that will work for us, if I can get it set up properly. The instructions in the article will help.
