RE NXT Forms Gift Processing

Hi All - Our organization currently processes all of our gifts via database view and we use OLX for all of our donation forms. We have a big on-air, online fundraiser coming up and one of our execs has asked that we provide a more robust donation form by offering flexibility to the donor to choose between a one time gift or a monthly gift. OLX does not offer this function, so I have been tasked to find an alternative. NXT forms do offer this capability, but I am super concerned about how the gifts will automatically be processed. 1) I am concerned about the number of duplicates this process will generate as we go the extra mile to prevent this from happening while manually processing through OLX. Does anyone have any work arounds to prevent this? 2) We have had problems in the past with donors wanting to donate monthly, but mistakenly enter the full amount when filling out the donation form. $360/month instead of $30/month. Is this still much of a problem using the NXT forms? And 3 )Since all of our gift processing happens in DBV, how much more work will this generate to convert recurring gifts?

Any advice would be appreciated and if you would like to talk off-line, that would be fine as well.

Hi Shelley-

You can offer the opportunity for monthly gifts in OLX. In your donation form setup, just go to Tab 2 Extras, and if you scroll down a little, you'll see that option.

Thanks Katherine. Yes, we do that. I do apologize as I should have made the post more clear. He would like each option to offer different giving amounts like the NXT forms or Classy or Luminate Online. That type of formatting.

We use OLX and we have a button on our donation page they can click if it's One Time or monthly, so we have different forms set up with different ask amounts.
