Diploma - Elective Courses

Hello,

I have set up my school's graduation requirements in the Diploma section in the SIS. We do have an elective section, which should be any extra courses a student has taken. The Electives section is the last to be processed. I noticed that when I am processing diplomas, the courses in the elective section are being double counted for other requirements.

Does anyone have any suggestions on how to make sure that the electives are courses in the Diploma are not courses that have already been used to meet other requirements?

    The simplest source for this would be if your requirements have set the Satisfies field for courses listed to “All requirements”. If a course's Satisfies field is set to “Only this requirement”, it will not be allowed to count for any requirement (like the electives requirement) that gets processed later.
