Deleting and Archiving imported files

Can anyone share the solution that they implemented to delete and archive files that has already been imported?

    If you are hosted, they are imported and stored on an FTP site. Put in a support ticket, get access to the FTP site and delete the files you no longer need. For files that are imported often, we name the file the same so the old one is overwritten.
