Teacher/Staff Training

Hello! Our school is new to Blackbaud. We are trying to create the most time efficient training schedule/manual for our teacher work week in August. I have been in the weeds of implementation so can easily overload others with information. Does anyone have guidance on training teachers on using Blackbaud?? Thank you

Hi Jessica - My biggest suggestion would be to create a Community group for your faculty and use that group to house all the training documents. We use our community group every year for new training and reference with returning faculty on the class page standards. Breaking the instructions up in small sections also help - ie How to create your Bulletin Board; How to create a Topic button; How to create an assignment etc. Smaller pieces are easier for faculty to grab and not overwhelming ?

I would take a look at Day In the Life of a Teacher - BB also has some teacher-specific help articles that I've provided to our faculty that are really helpful for basics like taking attendance and managing bulletin boards and gradebooks.
