Drawing information from Custom Fields and Action Attributes for Dashboards

Hi,

Our organisation used action attributes and custom fields to add constituent data as there was no other preset field for this information. I would like to be able to draw on the information within these fields to include them in dashboards but it appears that some of these field are not included as options when you try to create a dashboard.

Is there another was to draw on this information to include it within a dashboard??
