Tribute is Here!

For the longest time, one of the biggest drawbacks in NXT Donation Forms was not having a Tribute option. Lo and Behold - it's HERE! I got an email for an upcoming webinar and was quite excited. Then I went to my donation form designer and saw that it was already there! I think a lot of folks have been hesitant about rolling over from OLX to NXT online donations for just this reason. Another Baby Step….thanks BB!

@Carol Frain - I am hoping for that as well. I thought maybe since the NXT Donation form had it, it was available for NXT gift entry, but it wasn't.

Wait. What? People can make donations online but users cannot enter tribute donations via NXT? I obviously haven't had time to review any of the materials!

I did poke around in a database and noticed that there still is no indicator that someone is an honor/memorial, and no tribute information is available in lists. But the fact that users still cannot add tribute gifts in webview is disappointing to say the least.

@Karen Diener we tried to use the Tribute from a donation form on our main giving page, but it caused more issues than help. There is no notice that it is a Tribute when processing the gift that we could find and the information for us came through in different places depending on if you were in NXT or database. Not the most helpful as there might still be some bugs to work out.

Has anyone else had any luck?
