Update Section Identifiers

The schedule was created and the Section Identifier was not done correctly. Where we usually do the teacher last name and the block name, like Smith-ABlock, we only have the block name.

That's a lot of fixing to do by hand. I can't find anything in API or Import Jobs. The Import Jobs, as near as I can see, only seems to update the rosters of the sections unless I'm just not seeing something.

Any ideas as to how I can update all the Section Indentifiers without doing it one by one?

I looked at that. I think that will update the enrollment. What I need to do is change the name of the section identifier.

It is my understanding that it has the capacity to do both. I think it is worth a look.

@Ravendra Persaud - thank you for sharing that link! I have been tasked with documenting my processes - and having a link to Help Center pages that explain the import process will save me a ton of time.

Regarding the Section Import - I have used this tool to update our section names many times - works very well.
