Donor Survey thru NXT

Does NXT-web view have the ability to set up donor surveys?

One idea I had was to use a modified registration form but that could get messy as I'd need to set up a fake event to get that to work.

But I could have a fake event that I can set up multiple ‘registration forms’ for

Blackbaud started the discovery process on this, probably pre-COVID, and never followed through.

My opinion is that they won't implement anything and will instead rely on customers to create forms with other tools (such as the Power platform) and do their own integration. You could review the idea bank to vote on items and/or drum up support from others to implement it. Users have been asking for it for quite a few years!

@Joanne Felci - I recommend utilizing a third-party form, particularly one where you can set up conditional logic to make the process as easy as possible for users filling out your form. I've used Power Automate in the past to bring submitted data through a form into the database in real-time; once you have a flow built it runs automatically on its own.

  • @Austen Brown I'm really interested in this. Any tips to point me in the right direction of where to start?

@Jasmine Watterson - At a past org, I utilized a form through Cognito Forms that would collect communication preference data, you could also use something like Microsoft Forms or Survey Monkey. As for learning and utilizing Power Automate, check out this helpful blog - it contains lots of information about the possibilities and how to get started:
