Lists for GPAs, specific courses and emails?

Hi everyone. Just starting our second year using Blackbaud.

How can you get a list/group for a course, for instance choir, and then that group of students' gpa's? I want that roster of students' gpa's. Is there a way to “capture” that group by sorting, filtering, or does a report already exist?

I also want to be able to get emails of parents of just a class from a list to export. I don't want to have to go through the class to do so. Parents emails don't seem an option in the academic lists…. Ideas?

    @Kerre Conerly It depends what list you use. A general student list in Academics does have the parents email, but if you go to the list that has course enrollment you can only get the parent names and not their emails…it is definitely a limitation of their build-in sky lists. The way we do what you are describing is through Advanced Lists. We created an advanced list that had every student enrollment on a separate row, along with the parent email. Then we sort by class or period if we need it.

    In terms of the GPA I am not aware of a way to get a GPA for a specific group of students without running it for the entire school and then choosing the ones you want. Maybe someone else has an idea on it?
