County dropped when updating address in NXT

When users update an address in NXT the county drops from the RE side. Has anyone found a solution to this, other than only updating addresses in RE?

@Cheryl Stadtler I think this may be because county is not a field in the NXT address. I doubt that there is a fix available if the field doesn't exist for update or entry in web view. If that field is vitally important, it may have to get updated in database view.

We pull many target lists from our tri-county area around the University, so County is needed for us. (Doing by zip code is a very long list of zips!) That is unfortunate on another limitation of the web view. Hopefully that will be addressed.

@Cheryl Stadtler - Do you have AddressAccelerator? If yes, add it to your recurring data maintenance to run records updated by NXT through this to refill the county listing within the address record.

Have had several requests for data by county recently and field was previously hidden and not filled. I know it's filling for new records I add in db view.
Where do I find/change a setting for records updated by NXT?

@Austen Brown We do have AddressAccelerator. I've never used it, just starting to poke around. Can you specifically update addresses changed in NXT? If you don't mind me asking, what would be the best way to add/update counties to approximately 5,300 records? I don't think all were changed in NXT.

@Damon Rosenthal I was considering running queries by zip code as well but recently discovered that in NXT you can add incorrect zip codes with no error message. Some zip code fields are missing a digit, some have the 9 digit zip with no dash, some have an asterisk instead of a dash, some records have an empty zip code field…It makes no sense to me that addresses can easily be altered with no type of validation.

@Cheryl Stadtler You should be able to run AddressAccelerator through Data Health Center in DB view. The problem we have found with NXT view is that it doesn't usually run the Business Rules and that can be problematic. Not sure why they don't apply in NXT… ?

@JoAnn Strommen - Unfortunately, there is no setting that you can change for records updated by NXT. The only thing you can do is supplement your regular data maintenance to help cover the gap. I recommend you run all addresses added to the system via NXT through Address Accelerator once a month.

@Cheryl Stadtler I had a standing Query of addresses changed in the last week. Then every Monday I ran them all through AddressAccelerator to update whatever was missing. Annoying but it got the job done.
