Import payments from Greater Giving

Does anyone know how to import payments from a past event on Greater Giving to the RE NXT database? All constiuents are in our RE database. Thank you!

    Hi Annie,

    If there is a way to export the event information from Greater Giving into an excel sheet, you should be able to import using the tool from there. I guess the issue you may be having is matching up the Greater Giving accounts with the RE accounts. (Meaning the Con ID isn't in Greater Giving as some sort of field.)

    To match the records, I might try to query RE for records matching email/phone records from Greater Giving and then use an XLookUp in Excel to assign the records the Con ID. Then Import into RE from there?

    Hopefully this is helpful, but it's also possible that I'm not understanding the issue.

    @Billy Fenyes It you are on NXT then SmartSYNC can do flat file and direct imports of data via APIs. It copes with duplicate checking/matching using various keys (names, addresses, emails, phones, org names, dobs etc.) to ensure no dupes and can import people, gifts, relationships etc. All can be set up and then it is a case of sitting back and it just runs the imports automatically.

    There are other tools out there too of course which I am sure you are aware of.
