University HELP...

Wow.. learning has never been so hard..

Can anyone help, every class I try to sign up for in the Blackbaud University tells me I have not met the prerequisites, but no where does it share what the prerequisites are. Is there a list somewhere that shows the classes in order they have to be taken?

@Kylee Hamilton, I took a class a few months ago for Blackbaud Grantmaking, another product we use. I agree their layout can be confusing, but there is a chat on the bottom of the screen. The best thing to do is to talk to them so they can direct you to the right place in real time.

I agree with Jane - definitely get in touch with Training Support. I was just looking at some of the classes I've got added on my transcript and the first one I looked at didn't mention any prerequisites! The next one had this:

So there should be a prerequisites section somewhere on the page for that class.

@Kylee Hamilton It seems like many of their classes are requiring passing the fundamentals exam first.

But like the example @Rachel Cavalier posted – online donation forms. The person at our office who is responsible for the online content, forms, web site would not be required to nor is detailed knowledge needed for that position on records, data and gift entry and whatever other courses are required for fundamentals exam. I can advise on what fields need to be on forms or other help needed.

He/she does not have the time to take other fundamental exam needed courses.
