Changing GL Date in Batch after hitting Commit

Is it possible to change a mis-keyed GL Date if gift batch has already been validated and hitting Commit in Raiser's Edge NXT when status is still Not Posted?

    @Mary Windsor Yes, in db view. As long as gifts are not posted and you have user rights to change. Use caution to create a gift query of the gifts that need date correction. If all in one batch that batch # could be your criteria. If various gifts, I would just criteria of ‘gift ID > one of’ and put the gift ID for those gifts.

    Then in Admin > Globally Change Records > Gift, create a new change. First thing select that query. then enter Gift > PostDate > Replace x/x/xx with y/y/yy.

    I recommend at bottom right clicking to create query of exceptions and query of changed records just so you have it in case something goes awry.
