Looking for schools that also use Emergent Curriculum

We have had to find workarounds for a number of things due to our school utilizing a modified competency based model, and an emergent curriculum. Are there other schools out there who also are having to find workarounds for things such as:

(1) Splitting credit across 2-3 transcript categories for an integrated course. It seems like I have to create 2-3 courses, each one correlating to a transcript category, and enroll the student into the 2-3 courses. This becomes a bit of a nightmare for teachers when taking attendance, and shows up as 2-3 separate courses happening in the same block.

(2) We do not use traditional grades. We award credit for work completed. A student can earn up to a set amount of credit per course. Example: The course might award .5 credit, but a teacher may only award .3
