Insight Donor Headline Measure does not include zero value Gift-in-kind transactions

The measure formula is formula in Insight Donor = "DEFINED AS SELECT COUNT(Constituent record ID, Gift split record ID) WHERE Gift amount > 0" In our organization we do not enter a value for our In-Kind donations. But we do want to count them in the donor counts and donor lists. Blackbaud support responded to my case: “We've concluded that it is not possible to obtain those results from an insight at the moment. It is not possible neither manually nor by manipulating SQL to create your own Metrics.” I would like another Donor Headline called Donor w GIK measure. or another way to count distinct donor counts.
