Events with Ticket Sales

How do most handle tracking the # of specific ticket types quickly? We have an event where we have adult tickets and then children's tickets, we only get so many of each so we need to monitor when we're getting close to those numbers. I created a dashboard based on a query of the event that we manually tally daily the number of tickets sold from both cases. How do others handle this tracking, I'm curious! Thanks in advance!!

@Denise Miller The event in NXT will show how many have purchased each “fee type.” If you open the event in NXT, it will break down how many of each fee has been purchased. I believe this is updated even if the gift hasn't been processed in OLX or NXT Events.
