New Transcript Builder Questions

• Is there any way to include/track graduation requirements on the new transcript builder? I was reading discussions on the transcript category option but not sure where this is in the new builder (correct me otherwise, but I read this was something available on the old but not new transcript builder? Having difficulty finding where to incorporate that onto the transcript and rather than a separate report)

• Is there a way align custom text to the bottom of the page? Trying to add a signature/title/date line (the signature line in the Style form is limited) so I've tried using the text option under Design but can't seem to find a way to align it to the bottom (horizontal spacing height won't work with transcripts having different bottom spacing)--something like a custom footer?

• Is it possible to include a picture on the bottom of the page? Think like a certified seal/stamp png that I'd like to upload and add to the transcript as an image. Am thinking of uploading as a School Logo and adding that, but again would run into the issue of bottom alignment

@Nathan Ong The first point you are correct. The old transcript builder allowed for grouping of credits by department and not just by accumulation of credits by grade level. To my knowledge, the old transcript builder doesn't tie into the graduation requirement module, but you could sort of get an idea of grad requirements using the departments. The other two points I don't have an answer for. I would need someone else who has used it more to chime in.

@Chris Felinski Thank you for the response--I was afraid of that, wonder if others might have suggested this to Blackbaud as it seems like a big feature to not include for whatever reason.

@Nathan Ong We looked at trying to do a footer with the signature/date text box, but the trouble we were finding is, there is no actual “footer” option that appears like a standard footer on every page. We could put it in a separate box (row) that is always the bottom-most portion of the transcript, but one of our priorities was to have the whole thing on one page and if we were to make the bottom section the signature box, it more often than not pushed the transcript to two pages. It just ends up below everything, no matter where the end lay. Which is why we ended up tucking the signature text box in the left half under the credit tally so it would not add to the overall transcript length.

As far as the official seal, you could add it as a watermark since the footer cannot be customized. You can add a watermark in the "3. Style form" tab. Just a thought.
