Looking for feedback - Tracking Opportunity Status

We are looking for a way to track how long an opportunity is staying in each status as it goes through the pipeline. Our initial thought was to include in the prospect plan an administrative step to update the Opportunity Status and then we could use that to track progress and average number of days between each status change. How are others tracking this?

Hi @Elizabeth Fahling, this sounds a bit like a current project we are working on with BB Managed Services to create a datetime stamp for when a plan stage changes.

This would give us the information on when someone moved to a new stage and how long they were in the different stages.

Is that similar to your issue?

@Liz Hackett SmartSYNC could do this sort of thing (and of course a lot more). It could trigger on a change to a prospect plan and then write, on a status change, to an attribute or interaction or append to a notepad or something. Anyway if interested contact the team. Dear @Liz Hackett ,

Couldn't you just use the audit table entries to get this information? You may want to expose them via a Query node so that you can query on them or add them to a Data List.
