Is mixing transfer grades with regular posted grades on the same school year OK to do (for transcript purposes)?

We imported all our historical grades as transfer grades and got them to populate successfully on transcripts for the previous years.

As we near the end of our first semester and are expecting to post the grades for Semester 1 of the 22-23 school year, a handful of students will be receiving P/NP grades on certain workshop/transition courses that they are not formally enrolled on in the system, so I was going to add them in as transfer grades.

Similarly I am adding in summer grades for this past summer (they are counted for this school year) on the transcript and was planning to do so as transfer grades like we did for the previous years, only difference is this will be our first year/semester on the system with posting grades.

Might be a small/obvious question, but there wouldn't be any issue in terms of transcript displaying these would there? Just didn't want something like having a second 2022-2023 school year grid pop up on transcripts.

Thanks!

  • @Nathan Ong - depending on the School you add the transfer grades for. If you are using your school - it will show just fine and GPA's will calculate accordingly. We uploaded Transfer Grades too, and all is golden. Feel free to reach out if you have questions,

Makes sense, they are from within our own school so that is good to hear; thanks!
